Since June 2023 our passion project – the Cee Cee Cafe – has been in full swing and so far we’ve been able to cross quite a few things off our list of achievements: we’ve had great parties, collaborated with local stores and most importantly, connected with people. We’ve connected with you and have enabled you to connect with each other in a relaxed atmosphere, drinks in hand. But besides events and sundowners we are still a cafe, which means you can get a coffee to go in the morning, come by in the afternoon for a piece of cake and an iced matcha latte or browse through our small store shelf which offers a fine selection of accessories, books and shirts from Labels. As always, it’s in keeping with our motto: support your locals. And we have some news regarding our food: we want to offer you more than just coffee and cake during the day, and that’s why we’ve teamed up with Munchies this week. Does that name ring a bell? Hm, maybe because you were at our opening party and ordered tacos from their red and white food truck? We couldn’t get enough of the tacos and cool design and have given them a permanent spot outside the shop.
For our Daily Lunch (Mondays to Fridays), Joschka and David have put together a varied menu of sandwiches and salads. Among them is the classic Grilled Cheese(s) Sandwich with cheddar, emmental and Bergkäse, topped with pickled onions. “Make it a menu” by ordering yourself a bag of chips and a cold drink to go with it. We have also made sure there is enough space: in addition to our benches and tables, there is now additional seating on our new concrete islands. Whether you come alone or with all your friends, we have plenty of space! And then there’s always our little corner area where you can make yourself comfortable. Food, cold drinks and picnic blankets are taken care of – the only thing you need to bring yourself is an appetite and maybe a little bit of curiosity – you’ll get plenty of Cee Cee sneak peeks here, because even we need a little time out from the office every now and again…
