Various celebrities showed up to the opening of “The Little Black Jacket Berlin” (trailer) which took place last Tuesday. Monsieur Lagerfeld and Madame Roitfeld were certainly present, but the creative director for Chanel and the ex-editor-in-chief of Vogue Paris have since left the city, and from tomorrow the exhibition will officially be open to the public. More than 100 photographs by Karl Lagerfeld from the book “The Little Black Jacket: Chanel’s Classic Revisited by Karl Lagerfeld and Carine Roitfeld”, published by Steidl, are on display. The exhibition is open until December 14th and admission is free of charge. A great show for anyone who’s interested in how many styling possibilities one jacket has to offer.
