Last year a wonderful restaurant run by two Brooklynites opened in Kreuzberg. The place is small and cosy and offers mouthwatering selections created with organic ingredients from local farms. Go as a small group of friends, order several dishes from the starter/appetizer menu and share them family style (my favorite: Grilled King Oyster Mushrooms & Ramsons with Smoked Ham). As a main, either the Risotto with Beet Root (heavenly!) or the Ribeye with Bone Marrow Butter… yum! Best dessert in summer: Blood Orange Granita with Sekt.
