Dry January, a term that breezes through January like a breath of fresh air, inspires many to give their glasses a break. In this month of clear heads and fresh resolutions, many consciously choose to abstain from alcohol—a personal challenge after the exuberant celebrations in December and a deliberate step towards more mindfulness and self-care. In line with this resolution, Happa Restaurant at Schlesisches Tor is hosting the first Sober Bar Night in cooperation with the Mindful Drinking Club. Founded by chef and cookbook author Sophia Hoffmann and her partner Nina Kristin Petersen, Happa is a vegan restaurant known for its radically vegan cuisine and consistent commitment to waste reduction. From Monday to Thursday they offer an affordable lunch menu with two main courses, a soup, salad, and freshly baked cake.
On sunny days, you can enjoy your lunch outside under the tomato-red umbrellas or take your food with you on the go. The Sober Bar Night next Friday (12.01.2024) will feature a variety of vegan and organic bar food snacks accompanied by selected non-alcoholic sparkling wines, sparkling wines, and cocktails from the Mindful Drinking Club. It serves as the kick-off for upcoming dinner events—a welcome opportunity to consciously abstain from alcohol while fully experiencing the pleasure. The founder of the Mindful Drinking Club, Jennifer Kießling, will also be on hand to provide exciting insights into the world of non-alcoholic drinks. Sounds like an evening full of enjoyment and without compromise. Just come along!
