FROM BARCELONA TO BERLIN — SUSTAINABLE FASHION POP-UP BY PALOMA WOOL

FROM BARCELONA TO BERLIN — SUSTAINABLE FASHION POP-UP BY PALOMA WOOL

As fast fashion continues to dominate the industry, Paloma Wool is one clothing label trying to break that cycle – with style. Barcelona-based Paloma founded her namesake brand in 2014 with the aim of merging art and clothing, and the result is a collection that takes a highly creative and experimental approach to fashion. The clothes are produced in Spain and often created in cooperation with international artists like Alejandra Smits and Romy Cole-Groth. The sustainable production methods used prioritize the creative process, resulting in garments which are a perfect demonstration of how clothing helps us express ourselves most freely. The distinctive pieces – for both men and women – are now available to browse closer to home. Paloma Wool is doing a world tour, and the next stop is Berlin, so head to Neukölln’s Studio Chérie to see and shop the collection for yourself. (Text: Sophie Döring / Photos: Paloma Wool)
