PERES PROJECTS: WILD STYLE EXHIBITION OF FIGURATIVE ART

PERES PROJECTS: WILD STYLE EXHIBITION OF FIGURATIVE ART

Peres Projects stands for contemporary art and big names: Mike Bouchet, Ostrowski and most recently Melike Kara. After numerous solo exhibitions, from tomorrow (6.10.2016) the gallery will present a rare exhibition, crossing genre and era. Entitled “Wild Style: Exhibition of Figurative Art”, the installation brings together many of Kara’s artistic pupils and focuses on depictions of the human form, from contemporary interpretations right back through to unidentified works of African sculpture. With pieces ranging from 200BC to the present day, the exciting amalgam of artistic works will guide you on an artistic and introspective journey through the spacious and otherwise plain premises of the gallery. Our obsession with portraying the human body and the constant search for new knowledge and representation has remained unchanged over thousands of years, and you would be surprised by how much an art selection like this can teach you!
