PHYLYDA — GLAMOROUS SWIMWEAR FOR ALL BODIES

PHYLYDA — GLAMOROUS SWIMWEAR FOR ALL BODIES

Time for sunshine! And also time to cool down – all you need is the right swimwear. No doubt you’ve lost your matching bikini bottoms or perhaps you’ve put on a few pounds and can’t find the right fit in high street shops? Lydia Maurer can help. Former creative director of Parisian fashion house Paco Rabanne, Lydia now creates bikini tops and bottoms (and swimsuits) that are interchangeable and can be matched to taste. Her creations celebrate the diversity of the female body and are sustainably produced in Europe under fair working conditions. Her latest collection, lush and rich in color, is inspired by fashion photographer Guy Bourdin’s imaginary journey to Jamaica. Incidentally, “Phylyda” means foliage and recalls the oldest garment known to man: Adam and Eve’s fig leaf. You can get a great overview of the collection online and try on the pieces right away at tonight’s opening of their new pop-up shop at Bikini Berlin, in cooperation with Fashion Council Germany. The first 100 visitors to the pop up shop are rewarded with a special goodie: a 45% discount on all swimwear. So pack your BFF and your swimsuit and off to Wannsee you go!
