POST-STUDIO TALES – A RESIDENCY GROUP SHOW

POST-STUDIO TALES – A RESIDENCY GROUP SHOW

Eighteen international artists and three curators John Beeson, Ulrike Gerhardt and Friedemann Heckel will be working and living together in a big hall for 30 days for their project “Post Studio Tales”. The Berlin based architects collective Something Fantasticbuilt a construction inside the hall providing work/living space for the artists. The exhibition deals with the question of how contemporary artists work and how important a studio is to them after all. This is why there won’t be a classic exhibition but a work-in-progress show featuring artists such as: Anna Möller and Konrad Mühe from Germany, Martin Kohout from the Czeck Republic or Wojciech Kosma from Poland. The supporting program called “Raconter et Recontrer” will be offering lectures featuring speakers like Sven Beckstette, the editor-in-chief of “Texte zur Kunst” magazine.
