CEE CEE LESSON #6 RECAP: LETTERPRESS AND LINOCUT

CEE CEE LESSON #6 RECAP: LETTERPRESS AND LINOCUT

Another weekend, a little bit wiser. The sixth Cee Cee Lesson, held last weekend in Vienna, taught us how to work with a 1968 letterpress using original vintage wood and lead drums, and the techniques required to create manual linocuts. As always with the Cee Cee Lessons, we were there to learn from the experts — and of course experience the satisfaction of creating something ourselves, guided by the motto “hands on” since we launched in 2015 in partnership with the team from Bulleit Whiskey. Following the post-workshop sundowner, we returned to Berlin not only with our prints and new knowledge, but with many new friends in Vienna. This autumn, the Cee Cee Lessons will continue. Want to be there, lead a workshop or become a partner? Then drop us a line at lessons@ceecee.cc! (Text: Nina Trippel / Photos: Andreas Jakwerth)
