Next week Soko will be performing live at the new Kreutzberg Club “Bi Nuu”. You’ll probably remember her hit “I’ll Kill Her” from 2007 – everyone was taken by her cute French accent paired with the bitter yet honest lyrics. Her looks may be less impressive than that of Lana Del Rey’s, but besides that they totally have the same vibe; cute voice, calm sounds, urban lyrics and vintage home video clips (this video was directed by Spike Jonze). She just released her first album “I Thought I Was An Alien” and is currently touring Europe.
