STICKS ‘N’ SUSHI: A DANISH-JAPANESE DINING ICON

STICKS ‘N’ SUSHI: A DANISH-JAPANESE DINING ICON

Sizzling yakitori or succulent sushi rolls? Now you can enjoy both – and so much more – thanks to a unique restaurant idea offering elevated Japanese cuisine with Danish roots. Since its 1994 launch in Copenhagen, Sticks ’N’ Sushi has expanded its empire to 17 outposts across Denmark and the UK. Now the refined concept has landed on Potsdamer Strasse – all sophisticated and handsome, spread across two stories and fronted by a well-stocked bar. Expect top quality ingredients and innovative flavour pairings, like the tuna tartare with yuzu vinaigrette or bacon-wrapped scallop sticks. Vegetarians are equally well catered for: from sweet potato teriyaki skewers to truffled cauliflower, plant-based options are plentiful. Oh, and be sure to save room for dessert – the dark chocolate caramel balls coated in toasted sesame seeds are not to be missed. (Text: Victoria Pease)
