SUPPENGRÜN – BERLIN’S BEST SOUP SPOT

SUPPENGRÜN – BERLIN’S BEST SOUP SPOT

Located between the subway stations Heinrich-Heine-Strasse and Märkisches Museum, “Suppengrün” isn’t the most convenient soup place to reach for lunch, but it’s well worth the hike. I was a regular when I worked in this area and it was a major dilemma to decide what to have every time. Besides the great taste and the weekly selections, what I love the most is the chunkiness of their soups – there’s something to bite into. The carefully chosen ingredients aren’t just puréed in the blender leaving you hungry in a couple of hours, at Suppengrün the soups are a full meal. They also offer big healthy salads and next door at their sister shop “Saftladen” you can get fresh fruit juices with all kinds of ingredients to choose from.
