Ting is the ideal place to shop for gifts for friends or simply for yourself. Upon entering this airy store, it’s impossible not to find anything to pimp up your home. Laura Huppert is the lovely and helpful owner; she’s married to a Danish man and speaks the language perfectly, thus selects mainly Scandinavian products and completes the range with some Asian goods. You’ll find bamboo bowls, beautiful glass vases, wool blankets or socks and various cute little nicknacks. The best part is that although many things look pricey, actually they are pretty affordable. To fight your shopping exhaustion, I recommend getting yourself a single licorice stick and a fruit juice by Danish brand Søbogaard (apple black currant!). (Photos: Anne Deppe)
