Want to boost your knowledge about the natural world? Avantgardenlife, founded by Australian-born artist Tash, is your ticket to green knowhow. Producer of tinctures, ointments, flower essences and fermented foods, Tash can teach you how to use nearby plants and herbs responsibly yourself at one of her workshops, which are the perfect introduction to botany. The moon guides your learning: at full moon, water rises to the upper parts of plants like the flowers and stems before falling towards the roots with a new moon. After a cup of tea and meditation in Tash’s garden just east of Berlin in Strausberg, you head off into the forest where you can collect your own plants and wild herbs, before learning how to make customized remedies for your body. To prepare yourself for the woods, why not stop by Daheim Manufaktur this Friday (29.05.) for the Herbalism, Ferments & Witchy Things pop-up shop from Hexenküche, where Tash will be consulting on minor health problems and offering her remedies between 16 and 19h. Best book a slot online beforehand and see for yourself how versatile and valuable natural products can be. AvantGardenLife: The next plant workshops will take place at full moon on 07.06.2020 and with the new moon on 20.06 and 21.06. All other dates can be found online.
