WANDERING THROUGH HUMANITY: RENÉE GREEN AT NAGEL DRAXLER

WANDERING THROUGH HUMANITY: RENÉE GREEN AT NAGEL DRAXLER

New York-based artist Renée Green is known for working in a wide array of media, which often converge in layered installations. One of her latest projects, the film “Begin Again, Begin Again”, takes as its narrative arc the time between 1887 and 2015, and as its subject the broad notion of human experience. Featuring a variety of spaces, some undefined and others recognisable as Vienna or LA, the work was produced for an exhibition held at the MAK Centre for Art and Architecture at the Schindler House in LA in March 2015. At Galerie Nagel Draxler, Green’s studio work will be the subject of the exhibition “Placing“.
