Man, nature and technology. Memory, narration and utopia. Reality and construction. Everything is interconnected, interwoven, linked, entangled and knotted. “Tender Hooks” is the title of the current group exhibition of fifteen artists Elisa Jule Braun, Ipek Burçak, Marta Djourina, Sarah Godfrey, Sophie Hilbert, Kristiane Kegelmann, Miji Ih, Sarah Loibl, Toni Mauersberg, Katharina Reich, Stefanie Schwarzwimmer, Babette Semmer, Stefania Smolkina, Anna Roberta Vattes and Constanze Vogt. Together, these artists make up this year’s cohort of Goldrausch-Künstlerinnen, a program that promotes the outstanding artistic achievements of women. The exhibition’s poetic title not only represents the communication between the featured works, but also exemplifies the connections between the participating artists and the initiative itself. And the latter is also connected: in collaboration with the Kommunale Galerie Berlin, the project will be using their premises near Fehrbelliner Platz until October 30. Admission is, of course, free.
