100° Grad Festival starts today once again at HAU and Sophiensäalen with 130 plays in total. Among them is one by “Les Maîtres Fous” – Martin Behnke, Christiane Boy and Leny Fay showing “Deutschland der Film” (“Germany the movie”) – a silent terror in a screaming reality. After “Der Untergang”, “The Life of Others” and “Baader Meinhof Komplex”, there will be two film makers on stage exploring new territory of the German past on screen. In their little project space they look for historical truth and and what they find is a new morality; a theatrical performance on using film as a medium for dealing with the past.
