21-KILOMETER WEEKEND — CC’S CALENDAR TIPS TO BEAT MUSCLE SORENESS

21-KILOMETER WEEKEND — CC’S CALENDAR TIPS TO BEAT MUSCLE SORENESS

Steady breath, consistent pace – this weekend is all about endurance. We’ll cheer from the sidelines for everything that comes our way. Here are CC’s Calendar tips to ward off sore muscles. After the starting gun, we focus on clothing that does more than dress — it moves. Today (26.03.2026) at the ifa GalleryDiaspora Wonderland. Fashioning Worlds opens, an exhibition that views fashion as a medium that carries and tells stories. It highlights how clothing mediates between origin, identity, and imagination. On Friday (27.03.), there will be a roundtable. A second pit stop is on Friday (27.03.) at the Sophie-Gips-Höfe. At FilterMusic Was My First Love opens, an exhibition exploring fandom — that deeply personal connection to music that permeates everything. Music becomes memory, obsession, perhaps even a refuge. Just a few meters away, another space invites reflection. At Kunstbrücke am Wildenbruch, two artists examine a single room from different perspectives. Clara Bahlsen and Sophie Aigner present their duo exhibition Fenster, Türen, Wände (Windows, Doors, Walls), curated by Charlotte X. Nies. The title is meant quite literally: it’s about transitions, boundaries, and what happens in between. Your next stop is Ouuma.

The brand moves between Tunis and Berlin, between Maghreb traditions and contemporary Berlin. In the afternoon, there’s a special visit: Sven Durst presents works from his world as a designer and publisher of 3 Objects Magazine, accompanied by drinks, music, and a selection of objects. If your race number starts to pinch, a quick stop in Linienstraße is worth it: Ioannes opens its Sample & Archive Sale from Friday to Sunday (27–29.03.). Founded in 2019 in Paris by Johannes Boehl, the label references couture alongside 90s sportswear — perfect for continuing your run, or letting your imagination wander. Also on Friday (27.03.), Morgen – Ein Traum premieres at Villa Elisabeth. The project, led by Charlotte Schetelich, translates Richard Strauss’s song cycle Morgen op. 47 into film — no dialogue, only images. At its center is a sleepless figure who ultimately finds their way into a dream, and into the freedom only dreams can offer. For a nourishing snack, head to a kitchen full of fermentations on Saturday (28.03.). In Gerichtstraße, Aru celebrates its grand opening, a new spot for culinary delights from Kyoto. Expect pickles, small snacks, natural wine, and sake — perfect for a mid-run stop. And since we’re just a running shoe away from the half-marathon, on Saturday (28.03.), various crews will head out for Shake-Out Runs, including Optimistic Runners and Forward Running, whose run starts at a crêperie. Here’s to a few nice kilometers! On Sunday (29.03.), take your next turn in Charlottenburg. At Luisenkirche, the Bulgarian Voices Berlin give a spring concert that moves between folklore and improvisation. If you’d rather stand, cheer on the runners along the route. Every voice counts! And after the runner’s high? The day continues. On Sunday (29.03.), the running community gathers at Ritter Butzke for Active Dance Recovery. That’s how we remedy muscle soreness here.
