WILDHOOD STORE: THE SHOP FOR VAN LIFE DREAMERS — RECOMMENDED BY EMILY PELICH

Driving out and spending a weekend in nature has always been a desire of many a city dweller – even before the pandemic began. Whether you have a camper van or not, if you want to go on an adventure be sure to head to Neukölln to get equipped with everything you need. Wildhood Store has been offering great gear for wild exploration since 2015. Whether it’s motorhome trips, camping, cycling, hiking or even picnicking in the park, you’ll find outdoor gear, backpacks, games, books and of course practical tips from founders Antje and Rike. Everything the pair have in their shop has been road tested in their own VW bus, and there’s nothing showy or superfluous. The duo’s focus is sustainable, ethically-made goods, and they pay special attention to quality and practicality of the items they offer. Top tip: if you ask nicely, the pair will clue you in on their favorite camping spots off the beaten path. You can also find the entire collection online, which also offers click and collect.
