The founders Marco Prüfer and Jarves Drechsler have put a lot of hard work and love into this corner café in Prenzlauer Berg. Kaffee Kraft is not only about the coffee, but also about the people who come here to enjoy it. Since March 2014, they have provided their neighborhood with high quality coffee, home-made cakes and fresh juices, with their motto being that it’s always better to do it yourself. This means that you won’t find a trendy New York cheesecake on the counter, but rather a more traditional German “Käsekuchen” made using an old family recipe. Even the fruits for the Kraft juices are collected by hand and taken to the fruit press directly, and the coffee cups are all self-designed. At the weekend the baristas serve breakfast, and every Sunday there is a new guest espresso in the grinder. If you like a great atmosphere, and a good brew, then you’ve found your next spot to visit this Easter weekend. (Text: Anna Fiedler / Photo: Daniel Farò)
