Maybe on your last trip to Portugal you discovered the taste of Vinho Verde: the grapes used to make this light wine with fine aromas of citrus and pome fruit grow only in the countryside surrounding Porto on the green hills between the Douro and Minho rivers. And now you’re standing at a Berlin wine shelf looking for the perfect bottle for a little downtime on the balcony and wondering what your options are. Let the experts at the Great European Wines Festival (20.06.2019) advise you. Here you can have a chat with the winemakers and ask them everything you ever wanted to know about wine – and naturally sample some of the 75 wines available for tasting. All of this takes place in the marvelous atmosphere of the Arminiusmarkthalle with its 15m high ceilings. In addition to Portuguese DOC wines, the event will host Italian vineyards sharing their wines with us.
