This week the “Preis der Nationalgalerie für Junge Kunst” (Nationalgalerie Prize for Young Art ) is celebrating its 10th anniversary. Every second year, four artists are nominated by a jury to present their work at Hamburger Bahnhof. The award includes prize money of 50,000 Euros, thus considered one of the most prestigious in contemporary art. This year’s nominees are Cyprien Gaillard, Kitty Kraus, Klara Lidén und Andro Wekua. A second jury will announce the award-winner on September 27.
