VIDEO ART, MUSIC AND DRINKS AT DAS GIFT

VIDEO ART, MUSIC AND DRINKS AT DAS GIFT

The wooden interior is proof of the fact that “Das Gift” was once a typical German Eckkneipe (corner pub) that turned into a bar. The clientele has certainly changed since it evolved into “Das Gift”; Now there are lots of hip, arty and English-speaking folks who stop by – which is to no surprise since owners Rachel Burns and her husband Barry are both from Glasgow. Starting tomorrow you’ll find a collaborative video art installation there by Laetitia Ante Delictum, Susu Laroche, Elisabeth Owuor (to name a few), dealing with topics such as life, death, abyss, mythology and mysteries. In viewing works on these essential topics, perhaps you may be inclined to take a look at the drink menu from the bar. Zirndorfer beer, Scottish Ales, Wodka Wanessa (handmade Spelt Vodka from Austria), gin from Scotland or the Williams Ginger Beer sound pretty good to me.
