TYPOGRAPHY AND IMAGES FROM BLACK TO DEATH METAL

A while ago, flipping through an issue of Vice magazine, I stumbled upon the works by artist Christophe Szpajdel. Since the 80’s he’s dedicated himself to the metal music scene. He has created more than 7000 logos (!) for metal bands and musicians and hence helped them find their graphic identity. This guy should be added to the Guiness Book Of World Records – I can’t imagine there’s anyone else out there who created more logos than him. Project room “Little Krimminals” is now showing some of his original works for the first time outside of the UK. Portrait photos of the metal scene by London-based Ronald Dick complete the show which is truly dedicated to the “dark” side of music!
