Since the Cee Cee team recently moved offices to a new neighborhood, we’ve constantly been on the hunt for the perfect lunch spot – not so easy to find however. So we were super excited when we discovered Avan, a truly hidden gem in Mitte. The restaurant is located inside a fashion store, tucked away in the back of the second floor. The concept store Oukan71 initially started with a restaurant a few years ago, but it closed shortly after. Now a new team took over the kitchen so you can enjoy super fresh Asian cuisine (chef is from Laos) with a weekly lunch menu. We’ve already become patrons visiting once or twice a week, and so far I love it! The only down side is, that sometimes it’s awkwardly quiet as they play no music and the room is quite small.
