The regulars like to come through the back door, we heard. Well, no matter which entrance at Bar Zentral you choose, you will be standing in front of a huge wooden bar and a backdrop made of sophisticated black shelves – so you won’t have to stare at bottle logos all night long but are invited to concentrate on the lovely person next to you or your fine drink. That’s just one idea design studio Hidden Fortress came up with, who created the refined interior concept, with details that range from metal slats at the bar to the striking wall decoration in the restrooms. The drinks are perfectly mixed and the bartender might seem familiar to you, Max used to work at Würgeengel before. We enjoyed a perfect “Prince of Wales” and a superb “Wodka Collins” and other delicacies from the drinks menu and forgot all about time and space… Bar Zentral run by Torsten Bender and Sebastian Mathow definitely is the most exciting bar addition of 2015 in the West.
