Calling all hobby photographers (and who isn’t, these days?): What does it take to create a photo that turns heads, stops people in their tracks — or at least triggers an overflow of heart icons? Since 2011, the hugely successful Berlin-based photo platform EyeEm has been exploring and answering this question — generously sharing their expertise on the way. Next Tuesday (6.11.) EyeEm creative director and co-founder, the affable Gen Sadakane, is leading a photo walk through Berlin-Mitte — seeking out interesting motifs and passing on tips for seeing, and capturing, the city in a new light along the way. It’s free and open to all — thanks to Google Pixel Studio, a pop-up space for creativity and connectivity centred on taking incredible photos with the Pixel 3. Hint: with a few tricks from the experts, it’s easier than you think — register hereto join the walk and get the inside scoop on upping your snapshot game.
