BUFFALO MILK ICE CREAM FROM PAOLELLA — RECOMMENDED BY KYURIE SHIN

BUFFALO MILK ICE CREAM FROM PAOLELLA — RECOMMENDED BY KYURIE SHIN

Berlin’s ice cream game just got a step up thanks to the folks at Paolella Mozzarella, who make fresh buffalo milk ice cream from grass-fed buffalo living on a 200 hectare farm in Brandenburg. The result is the creamiest, richest and freshest ice cream you’ve ever tasted. This small shop, located opposite U-Bahn station Dahlem Dorf, offers 12 rotating flavors including “pure”, basil and whiskey walnut. Buffalo milk’s higher fat content creates an irresistible texture and flavor that lingers in the mouth, with no artificial sweetness. While ice cream is one of their newer creations, Paolella has long been a key player in Berlin’s gastronomy scene with their handmade buffalo mozzarella and meat. You can find the products at selected retailers. The ice cream is sold seasonally at the Paolella shop, which is located inside the Luise Biergarten – ideal for stopping by before your lake trip.
