OLD FAVORITES, NEW FAVORITES: CROISSANTS, ART & A KIOSK CLOSING WITH CC’S CALENDAR TIPS

OLD FAVORITES, NEW FAVORITES: CROISSANTS, ART & A KIOSK CLOSING WITH CC’S CALENDAR TIPS

This weekend is about farewells, new beginnings, and reunions — between art, good company, last drinks, and new traditions. If you’re looking for art, you’ll find it on Thursday (23.10.2025) at MyPlace Berlin Moabit, where a group exhibition opens that sounds like a song and a warm invitation: Hey-Hey, My-My featuring works by Barbara MährlenKurt FritscheJohanna Ballweg, and others. The exhibition can be viewed by appointment until early November. Another gathering of beautiful things follows immediately. Antonina Studio and Rayas Collective invite you to their pop-up on Besselstraße this weekend (25.10–26.10.2025). Three new bags from Raya — Sesame, Chalk, and Truffle — take center stage, accompanied by Antonina’s rings made of gemstones and glass beads. Also discover silverwork by Alan Hamliko and ceramics by Adelle H. Just around the corner (but with a completely different vibe), Santangelo Jewelry is holding a two-day sample sale (25.10–26.10.2025) of its handmade jewelry. Find one-of-a-kind pieces, older collections, and items with charming flaws, along with vintage clothing, books, and records from Can Luca HerzbergFanny Kübler, and Hotdipsss.

And our own little tradition — Croissant Session No. 05 is moving to Bar Basta in Mitte on Saturday (25.10.2025). Once again, it’s a daytime party with soul, croissants, coffee, and a mix of familiar and new faces — a Saturday morning for dancing, reunions, and lingering. Now for the farewells. There’s one at the Palast Kiosk Closing next Thursday (30.10.2025). All summer long, the kiosk on Steinplatz was a meeting place, a spot to drink, a source of comfort. Now it’s time for a winter break, but until then, the shelves are full and the drinks are sparkling. Come by before it gets too cold! Then head somewhere warm. Duck Season officially begins on Thursday (30.10.2025) at Ei-12437-B. Jens Wagenschütz from Untermühle will be serving ducks. The three-course menu comes with wine, vegetarian alternatives, and the smell of autumn in the air. Speaking of which, don’t forget to change your clocks on Sunday!

LESS DETOX, MORE DELIGHT — CEE CEE’S PICKS FOR SMALL INDULGENCES

LESS DETOX, MORE DELIGHT — CEE CEE’S PICKS FOR SMALL INDULGENCES

Sober October never really works in Berlin anyway. Too many temptations. Instead of abstinence, there’s pleasure in all forms — from whisky omakase to cozy knitwear to schnitzel at Clärchens. So, if you were still planning a detox, better to wait until “No”vember. The colder the days, the more important the cozy spots. Café Neumanns knows this well. Starting this week (16.10.2025), it’s turning into a wine bar. From Thursday to Saturday, special bottles from Weinladen Berlin will be poured, paired with cheese from Alte Milch and charcuterie from Kumpel & Keule. And what belongs to autumn as much as chestnuts and pumpkins? Knitwear. Rhea, a label from Amsterdam, treats knitwear as a quiet luxury. This weekend (17–18.10.2025), Room01 opens its private showroom for an intimate pop-up edition with Rhea, joined by furniture from Uncommon and art by Arthur Laidlaw.

Part melancholy, Part new beginnings: Malaika Raiss is moving (and clearing out archives, stock, and hearts). At the sample sale on Sunday (18.10.2025), runway pieces, jewelry, art prints, and even wedding dresses will be available at Klub Maison, all at special prices. Art that doesn’t take itself too seriously can still make an impact. Soft Cake is the title of a new group exhibition at WerkStadt Berlin, curated by Mayan Tuulia Frank with works by Paula Breuer, Hanna Rode, and others. It’s about tenderness, humor, and softness in contradiction. At the opening on Sunday (18.10.2025), there’ll be a touch of magic, live from Lars Vegas. Some ideas are so simple you wonder why they didn’t exist sooner. From now on, Sundays at Luna D’Oro are dedicated to schnitzel — golden, buttery, crispy. Classic Viennese, deliciously vegan, or creatively reinterpreted, always fresh from the pan. But save room for Kaiserschmarrn. A comeback that smells of smoke and oak wood: Torikabin is back, this time at Stoke in collaboration with Nikka Whisky. From Tuesday (21.10.2025) through November, the restaurant becomes a Japanese omakase experience with 15 courses, paired with whisky-based cocktails. Two seatings, fourteen spots, and every reason to book ahead. For those stopping by for a drink, the bar also serves highballs, sake, and autumn in a glass. Now in its fifth edition and still going strong, our Croissant Session continues — always unique, always special. This time at Bar Basta in Mitte. Arash and his team take care of drinks and atmosphere; we bring mini croissants, music, and community. The next daytime party takes place on 25.10.2025 — as always, in the morning, to start the weekend with soul, coffee, and good company. We’ll talk again in November.

“MIT VERGNÜGEN” INTO THE “MIT VERGNÜGUNGSPARK” — A WEEKEND FULL OF LIVE ACTS, FUN & CONNECTION

“MIT VERGNÜGEN” INTO THE “MIT VERGNÜGUNGSPARK” — A WEEKEND FULL OF LIVE ACTS, FUN & CONNECTION

It’s going to be a joyful weekend next month with Prenzlauer Berg transforming into one of the city’s most colorful spots. On 08.–09.11.2025, Colosseum Berlin becomes the Mit Vergnügungspark — a festival of connection, good vibes, and diverse exchange. Those who joined last year know that Mit Vergnügen’s amusement park is an experience for all ages, thanks to its varied program. From live music featuring well-known names like Mogli to exciting newcomers, there’s something for everyone. Podcasters such as Jule and Sascha Lobo will be on site, discussing socially relevant topics live. For those who prefer laughs over reflection, the Downstairs Comedy Club with Hendrik Brehmer will guide you through the evening, or join talks on topics like “DJs are dead”, engaging, laughing, and sharing your thoughts. Outside, food trucks and drink stands offer a diverse selection, ensuring that no one goes hungry or thirsty. Kids up to 12 years enter for free, and the kids’ area is packed with activities to keep the little ones entertained. The first day wraps up with a party (22–04h), where you can dance into the night or take the mic yourself during karaoke with Luis la MettaTickets are available for both days or individually. A weekend designed to make you forget the gray November weather, just for a moment.

THE CC CROISSANT SESSION NO.05 IS COMING UP: AT BAR BASTA WITH DELICIOUS DRINKS & THE COMMUNITY

THE CC CROISSANT SESSION NO.05 IS COMING UP: AT BAR BASTA WITH DELICIOUS DRINKS & THE COMMUNITY

It’s time for that one Saturday morning each month that’s extra special to us: on 25.10.2025, we’re back for the next round of Croissant Session No.05, our very own community-first daytime party. This time we’re heading to Mitte, to Bar Basta, because Arash and his team are the go-to spot for delicious cocktails and warm, familiar hospitality. Paired with soulful sounds from our DJs, space to dance, mini croissants for the early birds, strong coffee, and of course our community, it’ll be — as always — a celebration!

BERLIN & ITS SENSUAL SIDE — CC CALENDAR TIPS BETWEEN ART, CERAMICS & CUBE-SHAPED DELIGHTS

BERLIN & ITS SENSUAL SIDE — CC CALENDAR TIPS BETWEEN ART, CERAMICS & CUBE-SHAPED DELIGHTS

Connoisseurs, this way! This weekend is all about exploring, tasting, and reflecting in quiet galleries, resonant churches, and sophisticated kitchens. Here are the Cee Cee Calendar tips for the weekend and beyond — between fleeting memories and colorful hedonism. First stop: the Camperlab Store in Mitte, for an archive sale from Thursday to Saturday (09.–11.10). In its creative lab, the Spanish fashion brand is presenting its current collection in the first room, while the next room hosts an archive sale. If you want to break in your new soles and learn something about subcultural history, make your way to the 8MM Fest this weekend. On Friday (10.10.), twelve acts will play across 8MM BarZionskirche, and Acud Macht Neu, ranging from indie to experimental and everything in between. The festival opens that same evening at Zionskirche with a special program curated by Salon ObliqueNight of the Long Call commemorates the right-wing extremist attack of 1987 and connects past and present through sound and performance. Among those performing are cellist Frankie and Tuçe Alba on the ney flute, along with a performance by the lyrical-experimental duo Mug. On Saturday (11.10.), the party continues at Kesselhaus and Machinehaus, before the Sonic Sisters Society takes over the after-hours session back at 8MM Bar.

Those looking for quieter moments will find what they’re seeking in Prenzlauer Berg. On Friday (10.10.), the group exhibition Vergissmeinnicht (Forget-me-not), curated by Cosima Kaibel, opens at Studio St21. The show brings together works by Anand Angrg, Bailey Keogh, and others, exploring memory and transience. What remains when we forget? And how can we capture the fleeting? The exhibition invites visitors to explore these questions until Sunday (12.10.). Right next door, Original Feelings is opening the backyard of its studio for the Artist Backyard Market on Saturday (11.10.) for its fifth anniversary. The studio’s refined aesthetics and attention to detail are also evident here, where you can discover silver jewelry, textiles, and ceramics by artists such as Pauluschka and Anna Arroyo, and take a piece home with you. Also on Saturday (11.10.), Klub Maison will host Schlemmerorgie (Gourmet Feast), the melodious title of Jonas Zeitler’s exhibition. Colorful paintings, collages, and ceramics meet table culture, gestures of sharing, and the little curiosities that lie in between. The artist reveals everyday life as a dazzling cosmos of zeitgeist, inviting you to dream and linger. If Zeitler’s art makes you hungry, then this evening is just the thing for you: on Thursday (17.10.), chef Clara Rupp and the visual research collective AA Research invite you to a culinary installation, or more precisely, six delicious chapters: AAC – A Culinary Experience. The meal will be served on the iconic Cube, from all sides, in six vegetarian and seasonal courses. The rule here is: reserve your seats quickly! The general rule is: dine & reflect.
