Directly on the Spree, hidden behind the East Side Gallery, lies Mina — a hideaway for Italian-Levantine cuisine with a guaranteed beautiful sunset. The team’s second location behind Mine in Charlottenburg combines Italian classics with Levantine influences, including four types of hummus, creamy muhammara, and smoky babaganoush (at Mina, it’s all about the dips). These are joined by classic mezze and warm dishes: pasta with saffron and pizza with pomegranate seeds, okra, feta, and pistachios. Familiar dishes are rethought and combined in surprising but harmonious ways. Those who prefer classic Italian dishes will also get their money’s worth: fritto misto, Sicilian-style octopus, spaghetti vongole — the list is long. For summer 2025, owner Misha Mnatsakanov, together with Maria and Joerg Koch, founders of the iconic media and fashion brand 032c, came up with something special. Mina has been hosting the first 032c Summer Residency since July 1, 2025. For several weeks, the fashion world has moved into the restaurant — visually, culinarily, and conceptually.
The interior hints at the residency as soon as you enter: posters adorn the walls, white and red plates with 032c lettering (I want!), and of course, the extra menu card. Because yes, the kitchen is serving an exclusive menu that Misha, Maria, and Joerg have designed for the residency. A truffle burger with pommes pailles, black ravioli with crab and caviar, and to finish, a raspberry Campari sorbet and pavlova in bright 032c red? If you want pizza, you’ll find Pizza Rosso on the menu, or take a look at the regular Mina menu, as you can order from both during the residency. There are also exclusive 032c cocktails such as the Raspberry Bellini and Bloody Mary. The worlds of gastronomy and fashion come together not only on the plate, but also at curated events that enrich Berlin’s cultural calendar and the banks of the Spree in equal measure. A place that shows how good collaboration can taste.
