Compact and sleek? Or functional and rugged? You can find the whole gamut of backpack design at the new Freshlabels Berlin store. Their mission: curating a wide selection of packs from international designers, including both small independent labels and more established brands. Founded in 2006 by Jan Bouška and Jakub Veselský in Prague, Freshlabels is home to collaborations – think Raf Simons with Eastpak and Boris Bidjan Saberi with Ortlieb – as well as collections from sustainable producers like Pinqpong and many more specialty backpack brands from around the world. The design of the store itself is a reason to visit, with a camera booth giving you a 360 view of your new look. Come, bring your friends, grab a drink and check out the selection at the store opening tonight (16.05.2019) which features a one-off giveaway of their latest collaboration with Berlin artist Monja Gentschow from Keinemusik. And if you can’t make it, their collections are available via their online shop, which has EU-wide shipping on men’s and women’s clothing, shoes and fashion accessories.
