OUR POP-UP PICKS: CURATED FASHION, INTERIOR AND JEWELLERY PIECES FOR UNIQUE AND UNUSUAL CHRISTMAS GIFTS

When it comes to Christmas gifts, it can be difficult to find inspiration. Luckily we have not one but three pop-ups for this weekend, each featuring very special design finds that your favorite people will love. At Salon am Moritzplatz is an interior design and fashion market from Bohazel (11–12.12.2020) showcasing their handwoven bags, blankets and pillows plus hand-painted silk garments and accessories created by artist Yoann Pisterman in collab with upcyclers Permanent Vacation. Meanwhile, down the road on Muskauerstraße is the MKW pop-up (10–13.12), where the Berlin-based, Korean-inspired clothes curators will present their own winter collection in addition to innovative garments from the likes of Vladimir Karaleev, Kreuzberg’s Hien Le and Seoul womenswear label Wnderkammer, plus distinctive handmade ceramics from Mónica Vicente. Over in Mitte is the return of the Zora Auguste pop-up, this time located in the beautiful surroundings of Anticrisi (11–13.12). Amongst the international design pieces on offer are the nature-inspired lamps and glassware from Vancouver’s Bocci as well as endearingly anthropomorphic ceramics from London-based Terpsichore. With such tastefully curated collections you are sure to find some unique, unusual gifts – just don’t forget to treat yourself!
