The film Song From The Forest will see its premiere at Delphi’s Filmpalast next Tuesday (3.9.2014). This documentary film is a directorial debut of the Berlin-based writer Michael Obert. He traced the life of Louis Sarno, an exceptional man who found his new home with the Bayaka Pygmies; his interest in a song once heard over the radio lead him to the rain forest in Central Africa. The movie follows Sarno 25 years after his move, as he delivers his promise to his son Samedi – introducing him to the world he came from: the inner city jungle of New York City.
