WEDDING-MOABIT FESTIVAL 2014: CRIME & CULTURE

WEDDING-MOABIT FESTIVAL 2014: CRIME & CULTURE

Everyone is talking about moving to Moabit lately, and how much potential this part of town has. Unfortunately, it’s pretty much a white spot on my Berlin map (and the Cee Cee map, too). With perfect timing, here comes a great opportunity to explore Moabit: the Wedding-Moabit Culture Festival. It’s starting today, offering more then 250 events at 150 spots. The program is pretty extensive and offers great opportunities to visit interesting places like the criminal court (Amtsgericht Tiergarten, Kriminalgericht Moabit), a grand neo-Baroque building built in 1906. F.A.Z. newspaper columnist Klaus Ungerer will be reading true cases from the court tomorrow evening, but you can also simply try one of the guided tours there.
