A few months ago when the album “Locked Down” was released I wanted to introduce it on Cee Cee but another topic took over its place. Now the time has come for Dr.John! He’ll be live on stage at Astra Kulturhaus as a living proof that 72 ain’t no age for retirement. This New Orleans-born musician and producer is a legend. I won’t get into all the interesting stories from his life, but if you’d like to know more, I highly recommend you check it out online. But most importantly buy this fantastic album produced by The Black Keys‘ Dan Auberbach. You’ll experience afrobeat-polyrhythm meets voodoo guitar sounds and much more. I think it’s the perfect tune to be turning the volume up on sunny days – or join the concert tonight to beat the nasty weather – I’m pretty sure it will be a night of magic!
