I’ve taken several small breaks on the wooden benches and stools at Voo Store after a shopping spree – almost always with a coffee in hand and the sun on my face. This courtyard address off Oranienstrasse has now been physically embroidered onto garments as part of the Converse x VooStore collection. The black and gray hoodies, along with matching sweatpants and T-shirt, are part of the Gold Standard Line from the US lifestyle brand. The fit is relaxed – it’s all about comfort here. In addition to the VooStore address, the embroidery on the hoodies and T-shirt also features another piece of the concept store: the iconic sage-colored framed window and fluorescent tube logo. The model for the campaign is Go Miyazaki, manager of VooDeli – the small food corner that complements the store with natural wines, fresh coffee, pastries and other goodies. On Instagram, he can be seen making a cappuccino in a black hoodie, jeans and the Chuck 70 Vintage Canvas in black.
