Dining in the compact 10-seat restaurant Shiori is a wonderful experience that we recommended to you in 2017. If you haven’t been there yet it is well worth putting it on your list for when restaurants open properly again. In the meantime, you can still experience some truly special cooking with one of Shiori’s to-go boxes, currently available for pickup and delivery. More than just takeaway food, these packages are like a little present – a delicate, handmade visual and culinary surprise which is intended to be savoured. Wrapped in a traditional Korean cloth called Bojagi, the delicate wooden box the food comes in is a joy to open. But it’s not just pleasing to the eye: the food itself is something special. At the restaurant Shiori serves several courses one after the other in Omakase style, where the chef is entrusted with the choice of dishes. At home, our Chirashizushi box was a dazzling, nuanced sensory experience (check Instagram for the latest offerings).
