We all know the feeling: it’s the end of a long working day and you still have to make the trip to the supermarket to get your dinner supplies. That’s life, right? Well, perhaps not. If you like the idea of swapping those hectic streets and crowded shops for a few taps on a smartphone app, Flink might be the thing for you. Launched in February 2021, the Berlin-based platform promises to deliver groceries to your door in as little as ten minutes without you even having to leave the house, giving you time for more enjoyable things. While you chill out, one of the pink-suited riders will be hustling to deliver your food and drink in a flash.
The app’s selection of groceries has everything you will find at your local supermarket, including pantry basics (no more trying to substitute missing recipe ingredients!) and a good selection of fresh dairy and meat. The standout is the fruit and vegetable section: you can order from a big range of organic produce – from rocket to raspberries – all of which is sourced from Demeter-certified farms. The bakery goods meanwhile are taken care of by the sourdough pros at Gragger on Potsdamer Straße – we particularly recommend the perfectly-baked Weckerl organic rolls. As for the drinks cupboard, you can stock up on well-selected wines and beers including brews from local favorites BRLO and Berliner Berg. You can get a €10 discount on your first order by quoting CEECEE (applies to baskets of €15 or more). Happy shopping!
