A giant guineafowl has escaped from Gerichtstrasse. Whoever finds it is advised to return it to the Stattbar owners Sylvio and Maik and will be rewarded. The payment is a delicious sort, only awarded on Tuesday evenings in the form of a vegetarian three course dinner. If you wish to attend without the guineafowl, you may simply join the dinner series “Lost in Wedding” as a guest too. The kitchen staff alternates but the concept stays the same; all dishes are made from local, seasonal and international ingredients. Here is an example: turnip cabbage carpaccio with caper dressing followed by ravioli stuffed with wild mushrooms and warm brownies with pineapple drizzled with salty caramel sauce. The menu is published online and on Facebook in advance. It is a vegetarian delight. There is, however, a surprise coming soon for all non-vegetarians out there: tasty meat treat to be consumed in the Stattbad’s swimming pool. Stay tuned.
