GNTM? So passé. It’s time for GHWG, an online photography project and an acronym for “Going Home With Girls“. While TV series à la “Germany’s Next Top Model” and the likes promote a fake image of what aspiring models and their way to the top are really like, this site give you a true glimpse into young up and coming models’ lives. Instead of making a fool out of themselves on TV, the girls are usually busy running between go-sees and test shoots, gaining experience and making their way up slowly but steadily. Australian-born Berlin-based fashion photographer Briony Ridley chronicles the girls at their homes, offering insight into their own rooms as well as their neighborhoods. It’s full of inspiring fashion images, fresh faces and perhaps the future top model. The little interviews allow you to get to know their personality as well. I love it!
