Eating your way through a five-course dinner can be a good deed? Soho House’s The Store and global humanitarian organization Action Against Hunger have come together to prove the opposite. Next Monday, a charity dinner is taking place with all proceeds going towards developing countries that the organization has been aiding for 35 years. Ticket-buyers can look forward to creative delicacies put together by young, pioneering chefs. Alan Micks of Michelberger Hotel, Dylan Watson and Spencer Christenson of Ernst will be there, as well as sommelier and owner of Nobelhart & Schmutzig, Billy Wagner. Top this off with the Dutch-duo of Lode & Stijn, Lode van Zuylen and Stijn Remi, Gabrielle Jones of Jones Ice Cream, and of course Johnnie Collins of The Store Kitchen. The menu, which will soon be published on Facebook, will be accompanied by a beer selection courtesy of Lager Lager and natural wines. Yes, doing good can do this good!
