This event is for Marilyn Monroe devotees, Billy Wilder fans, cineasts and anyone who loves good old-fashioned fun. A new film event Kinostalgia is launching in Berlin with a tribute to the 50th anniversary of Marilyn Monroe’s death with a screening of “Some Like It Hot”, the classic Hollywood comedy by director Billy Wilder. The movie will be screened in its original version at the Roter Salon, followed by a party featuring the band Sugar Kane Jazz Trio with singer Sarah Jane (see color photo) performing Monroe songs and jazz classics. Later DJ Lobotomy will follow spinning retro tunes and usherettes will be serving signature cocktails, which will be prepared especially for the night. Dress to impress with your vintage fashion!
