If you’d rather look at pretty drawings than read restaurant reviews, you might want to check out Nate’s “Postcards from Berlin” series. The illustrator and graphic designer moved to Berlin from Massachusetts earlier this summer and started to draw the (veggie) meals he enjoys here. His illustrations will give you a clue to what one can expect at “Café Obermaier” or “Manouche” and are an entertaining alternative to any food blogs. Postcards from Berlin is a part of the website run by Nate and his sister Salli “They Draw & Travel” – a platform for which illustrators from around the world contribute to their original map. So if you’re a foodie or a globetrotter, and say planning on visiting Rome, you can get to know the city through their unique perspective. If you intend on staying home however, preferably in your kitchen, you might find inspirations through the 2500 illustrated recipes on Nate and Salli’s sister site “They Draw & Cook“.
