At first, there’s a lot of doubt as to how on earth the colorful sticks will hold together. But a few deft moves later and lo and behold, it clicked! In our hands we hold an undefinable design object that has the potential to turn into many things: Christmas tree decoration, television tower, or pink elephant. Our hands inevitably wander again and again into the simple, chic fabric bag which the Minu Maju sticks are stored. In the blink of an eye, half an hour has passed, our minds are clear, and inspiration is high. We have three Berlin friends—Claudia, Milena and Susanne—to thank for the well-earned screen break, which has long been a favorite among the children of the Cee Cee team. With Minu Maju, they wanted to create a toy that would inspire young and old, and be sustainable at the same time. And it worked! Not only is the packaging fun, but the colorful shapes are created with a little dexterity and the addictive click sound. Finally, a toy that can be left in the living room after bedtime because it fits so well with the decor. The sticks are produced in a family-run injection molding company in the Black Forest and consist of a wood composite made from wood industry waste, all from sustainably managed forests. The new (adult) toy is also 100% recyclable. What can we say, it clicked.
