LAMM — COCKTAILKUNST IN INDUSTRIELLEM AMBIENTE

Nicely set back from the street on Prenzlauer Berg’s northern border, Lamm is a cocktail bar causing quite a stir amongst the city’s mixologists. Hannes Lautenschlager and Dustin Franke opened this urban oasis in January 2019, transforming deserted rooms into a spacious and sleek concrete-walled interior. Subdued lighting and carefully arranged seating give it intimacy and warmth – perfect for a snug evening sipping drinks. And every sip is a joy: combining barkeeping knowhow and a good bit of imagination, Lamm quietly produces some spectacular cocktails. Also available in small tasting sizes, the drinks are big on fresh fruit and herbs, with the likes of peach, mango, lavender and rosemary bringing zest and punch. The walnut-topped “Waldorfsalat” is definitely worth a full glass, blending vodka, celery, apple and milk for a delightfully mellow taste. No wonder Berlin’s cocktail scenesters are flocking here.
