The tunnels beneath Potsdamer Platz will serve as more than just a transit point this weekend (18.-21.10.2018), when a disused section of the U3 line will be turned into a space for creative experimentation. Selected artists will create works live in front of visitors’ eyes: taking part are Mary Lennox and her incredible floral creations, lettering extraordinaire Stefan Kunz and calligrapher Sigrid Artmann, illustrator and designer Olaf Hajek, paper artist duo Lacy Barry & Cris Wiegandt, aka Crizilla & Delassey, and painter Paul Schrader (who will also host a keynote workshop on 20.10. at 18h.) Having gleaned inspiration from experiencing the artists at work up close, you’re invited to turn your attention to the art of drinking at the “Cocktail Finishing” studio, where you can experiment with flavors and colors to create your own unique twist on the classic Bombay Sapphire gin and tonic at the “tonic wall”. You even have the chance to take the artworks they’ve witnessed being made home with them — each piece will be sold on the final day of the pop-up.
