LOVERS BY THE WATER — FIVE FOOD INNOVATORS HEAD FOR THE RUMMELSBURGER BUCHT

If you want to make the most of the remaining summer evenings, there’s a pop-up dinner series made for you: Lovers by the Water. It takes place next week (20.–24.08.2019) in the wonderful location of Cookies Events Studio C, directly on the banks of Rummelsburger Bucht. Food is courtesy of five restaurants at the forefront of Berlin’s gastro scene. Having featured four of the five restaurant crews already, we can say with certainty: It will be delicious! Each day, one of the teams will serve a menu specially created for this series. Caecilia Baldszus, chef of Baldon, will be delighting with regional ingredients including chilli cucumbers and Bohemian dumplings. Victoria Eliasdóttir will be serving up poached oysters with white currants and rosé. The Duc Ngo’s 893 Ryōtei are bringing Nikkei (Japanese Peruvian) cuisine while the team from Cookies Cream will have vegetarian highlights ranging from aubergine with bean ceviche to grilled pineapple with saffron ice cream. Last but not least, chef Dean Sprave of Crackers serves international cuisine with unexpected twists. Which of the five summer evenings will you choose? Get your tickets before they’re gone!
