The best way to experience Maria Mulata is with a bunch of friends so you may enjoy a full range of tapas. Their huge menu comes with Spanish Classics such as patatas bravas or Manchego cheese as well as specialties from Columbia such as maniok fries with three different dips – among them an amazing passion fruit sauce! The food is rich in variety and scrumptious, the restaurant’s atmosphere pleasant (by Neukölln standards I would even call it chic). I recommend reserving a table in advance and oh, the Gambas a la plancha is a must!
