I know I would have been a regular at this place for lunch had my office stayed in this “Kiez” in Mitte. This canteen combines all the things a canteen needs. A small daily menu with three main dishes and appetizers at a great price. Fast and friendly staff. Beautiful and clean interior design with attention to every little detail down to the cutleries. Of course this is exactly what you should expect as the canteen belongs to the famous Chipperfield architects. And to no surprise the food is delicious too, since the kitchen is operated by the Lokal crew who actually started out at the same location as the “old” Chipperfield canteen.
