There are several good magazine dealers in Berlin, but they’re not always around the corner from you. Let me recommend a lovely online boutique for magazines: Printe. Open since July 2013, they carry a great selection of publications; currently 15 titles from eight countries in German and English including some of our favorites like The Gentlewoman, The Weekender, and Travel Alamanc. Foodies will be pleased to find New York-based Gather or the Berlin zine Heimat. Soon they will be adding a few of more titles including This is Paper. This style of shopping suits me because I won’t waste too much time browsing around. I also like the fact that they’re not run by some anonymous big player but a dedicated prints lover, Alma. Her selection only include magazines with a harmonious Gesamtkunstwerk inside and out; because glossy covers are the easiest part, according to her. So find your offline amusement online!
